TurboPUP “Complete K9 Meals on the Go” founder Kristina Guerrero to launch
Superfood Snack line extension at Kroger stores
(La Pine, OR, June 2016) - Former Air Force C-130 pilot and founder of TurboPUP,
’Complete K9 Meals on the Go!’ Kristina Guerrero, swam with the sharks on the popular
ABC show Shark Tank in January 2015. La Pine-based founder and owner Kristina
Guerrero faced five “sharks” to come and walked away with a $100,000
investment in her company, TurboPUP from Daymond John.
Now after a year of working with John, Guerrero is launching a line of Superfood
Snacks this coming July. This will be the first new line extension from the TurboPUP
“Complete K9 Meal Bars.” Guerrero’s commitment to promoting canine health and
wellness for pups made her snacks an obvious choice for Kroger.
TurboPUP was inspired by Guerrero’s hungry pooch Dunkan on a backcountry ski trip .
With over 12 years in active duty in the U.S. Air Force and in the reserves serving as a
C130 pilot in Operations Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom and on the Horn
Impressed with Guerrero’s background and proven determination, Daymond agreed to
invest in the company, with Kristina taking the lead on product research and
“Any woman who flies planes in the military is disciplined. She’s not going to sleep.
She’s going to do what it takes to make it work;” John explained.
TurboPUP’s Superfood Snacks are nutrient power houses with functional and everyday
options, made with premium ingredients. Guerrero won’t reveal too much about the
snacks until their release in July.
“You’ll have to go to Kroger stores and see them for yourself!” Guerrero says. “There
are too many junk food dog products out there. Dog owners will be really excited about
what we’ve created!”
