DONATE TO HELP FIGHT THIS CRISIS!

Many shelters such as Riverside are claiming no resources for extra medical and spay neuter. Such proves its case when they released Miss Hope, assuming without medical, she had previously had a litter. LBWF immediately scheduled a spay and neuter appointment and Miss Hope surprised us all when she showed signs she was coming to full-term! We did not expect or have her resources in place for her unknown pregnancy. She gave birth to seven healthy puppies on Palm Sunday. We are keeping her safe and comfortable and asking for a loving foster!

Linda’s hard work in canine nutrition has paid off with our seniors living long lives! It’s all in the food we feed them! They’d love volunteers, sponsors and even foster homes! Help the seniors today!

Visit LBWF!

We have such an assortment of beautiful, amazing, adoptable dogs from small to large from pitties to shepherds, huskies, and lab mixes… All waiting for their forever loving homes and not to be thrown away twice!

Available Dogs!

Volunteers and workers positions available at all rescues and shelters including LBWF! We are asking for folks to help us during this time of crisis! Email us and let us know you can help!

We at LBWF are heartbroken to announce the passing of our dear, Roxy. Since it is Valentine's Day and a day centered around love, we wanted to do a very special tribute to our dear Roxy because Roxy was all about love. She loved everyone and everyone loved her.

Roxy was also the inspiration behind our Rescued Dogs Rock T-shirt. She was well known for taking silly pictures and one of those pictures developed into the Rescued Dogs Rock Design.

Roxy And Rocky

We all know there are angels that touch our lives forever. This is the story of Roxy & Rocky. There were always those who wanted Roxy leaving Rocky behind. Their little girlfriend Chihuahua Sabrina got a forever home right away. But Rocky and Roxy were bonded and I kept them together for life. Sadly at 15 years old, it was Roxy’s time and she crossed over the rainbow bridge yesterday. Please watch the video it was one of my deepest, heartfelt endeavors making a video.

Rocky is safe, a senior, and we are taking good care of him. In his time of loss after losing his mate of at least 15 years, I am one of the few that believes in keeping dogs together if they are pairs. They truly feel the loss love and friendship just as we do in our relationships and I wish more people would keep dogs together, but times are so tough and I know rescues and people are doing the best we can. Your donations truly help us save lives and do the right thing for these special human companions. Linda

Rocky & Roxy's Story

We Love You Roxy!

And think of her as living

In the hearts of those she touched

For nothing loved is ever lost –

And she was loved so much

Wishing you and yours peace and love this Easter holiday and Passover We have all been through a trying year and as the country opens, we pray everybody will remember to stay safe through their travels and gatherings with friends and family. We continue to rescue unfortunate angels that once again are being abandoned and found their way to the shelters. Your love and support help us to continue saving innocent lives. Your Easter tithings mean the world to the dogs! We have included pictures of a few of our recently rescue dogs and the bewildering story of sweet “Bruno” who we recently rescued. Easter treats for your four-legged best friends! While many of you continue to share food from your table, we encourage you NOT to feed them human food from your dinner table. For their health, feed grain free, limited ingredient dry food and canned foods, such as Evengers and Against the Grain 100% straight meat with no stews. You can also steam their meat and add to their dry food. I feed a mix with apple cider vinegar, coconut oil, salmon oil, and hemp seeds. (available through our Amazon smile link) We encourage you to add immune support, probiotics that are foil wrapped or out of the refrigerator section at your health food store, for proper processing, and www.nzymes.com granules and bac- pak. You all know about healthy gut digestion by now and these are so important for your best friends as well! For treats we suggest dried duck or chicken treats. Sweet potato strips wrapped with duck are readily available as well and the dogs love them. Smart Bones and Dream Bones have vegetable-based chew sticks and bones. We no longer feed rawhide! There is formaldehyde in rawhide, a major no-no for your best friend! Keep all kids Easter candy away from your pets! You do not need a visit to the veterinarian! For the vegans out there, I can suggest visiting our store www.LBWFstore.org And picking up a copy of my book “Going Vegan” Of course, that will come after Easter, but it makes a great gift! As a special vegan Easter dinner and a real treat for yourselves, try vegan ham, vegan egg salad, a beautiful red leaf lettuce salad with broccoli, mushrooms, carrot strips, add pine-nuts, cranberries and my favorite dressing is Annie’s Goddess dressing! For dessert have a vegan carrot cake or vegan cupcakes available for you and your family and there’s many wonderful vegan ice cream alternatives! Wishing you love and peace to your family this Easter and Passover time. Your Easter donations to LBWF make a world of difference to the rescued dogs in need! With Love as always, Linda Blair for the rescued dogs of Linda Blair Worldheart Foundation DONATE Bruno's Story ‌ Bruno was recently rescued by LBWF. While taking his freedom pictures, we noticed a strange lump in his left side of his chest and took him to the vet for some answers. Nothing was defined except may be a simple large cyst. We scheduled him for his surgery to remove the cyst. Upon my return to the veterinarian to pick Bruno up, the doctor placed a 9 mm hollow point shotgun shell in my hand! I gasped! This was the unknown cyst in Bruno‘s body! Somebody had shot this magnificent and truly kind, sweet dog with absolute intent to kill! I have seen and been through everything with the dogs, but I have never rescued a dog that had been shot. It took my breath away as I am sure it does yours. I was and continue to be so angry! I work so hard rescuing dogs, and this just took my breath away! The world has many people who do not share our love of the animals and for this, we must pray harder for peace and for these criminals to pay the price for what they do to innocent lives! Animal cruelty has never stopped. Your donations support LBWF to make a difference and to continue fighting on for the animals that need our help!  Wishing Everyone A Magical Day And Week
Of
St. Patrick’s Day!
As the country starts to reopen, we want to update you on all our hard work during the pandemic on behalf of the abandoned dogs and our adoptions!

Sadly, when the shelters started to close because of Covid-19, more dogs needed help and we have tried to be there assisting the best we can by providing a safe haven in their times of need. We have rescued dogs from the shelters, the streets, and from people who sadly lost everything during the California fires, and those who lost their jobs and were no longer able to care for their dogs.

From the start of the pandemic, LBWF saved over 70+ dogs, and found over 100 amazing homes for our rescued LBWF dogs! They went into homes that catered to them and treated them as family members, going camping, to the beach, assisting in online zoom classes and we are all so incredibly grateful to these wonderful homes. The dogs bring so much healing, love and laughter to our lives and through the pandemic!

We have continued our amazing feeding program, including the studies and application of intense herbal nutrition which Linda has been studying and applying for years. The dogs are living longer without pain pills and toxic drugs which decreases their lives by affecting a variety of their organs. We are getting closer to releasing our hard research for dogs to live longer and healthier lives!

Everyone has now heard how toxic some pet food can be, with some food lacking most or all nutrients through the processing of the food to give it a longer shelf life. Allergies and Cancer are just two of the main issues plaguing our pets!

After Linda lost her personal and founding member dogs to cancer, she has spent every day seeking change and applying it to our rescued dogs. Its working! We are the longest and largest overall, actual study on living, happy dogs, anywhere in the world. We are not a dog food company or research lab called a "Testing Sight" who do deplorable experiments to the dogs or other animals and when finished, euthanize the pets! Linda’s original animal welfare work was to fight against the companies who were performing animal experimentation! She has never stopped caring or trying to make the future lives of animals better, healthier and happier!

We can tell you that we feed the LBWF rescued dogs, grain free, (veterinarians are NOT trained in nutrition) as no dog runs into a grain feed to consume grains, corn or potatoes! These additives in food lead to allergies, itchy skin, and CANCER in pets!

We feed as clean as possible, a meat with little processing, no gravies and mix it all together. We use the company www.Nzymes.com products for digestive aid to help keep proper gut health for a healthier pet!
We add immune support, such as Turkey Tail Mushroom to their daily feeding as well!

No table scraps! No fancy store bought treats! They have chemicals and processing that lead to sickness! Buy dried meats, Pork Chomps and the new vegetable-based chew treats available through our online account on Amazon Smile or at a variety of stores.
We will continue to give you guidance through our work and will happily answer any questions you have. You can email us through the foundation by visiting www.LindaBlairWorldheart.org

Here are a few of our rescued dogs available for adoption or recently adopted wishing you a Magical St. Patrick's Day and do not forget you can show your support through fun clothing, coffee mugs, caps, masks and more, by visiting our NEW ONLINE STORE for the rescued dogs! www.LBWFstore.org

Halloween Safety Tips
The Linda Blair Worldheart Foundation wishes you and your pets a happy and safe Halloween. Below please find some safety tips to make sure your pet has a safe and you an enjoyable Halloween!

  • Never leave your 4-legged loved ones outside during Halloween. Unfortunately there are plenty of people out there who play pranks that could seriously harm your pet.
  • Remember to keep candy out of reach of your pets. Chocolate is extremely dangerous, as are many of the wrappers.
  • If your pet is typically skittish give them a nice quiet, safe place in the house so they don't become frightened.
  • If your pet is social and you would like them to be part of the Halloween festivities, it's best to keep them leashed in the event they become spooked and try to dart out the door.
  • Make sure your animals are properly tagged and micro-chipped in the event of escape.
  •  Don't dress up pets unless they love it. If you do dress them up make sure the costume isn't annoying or unsafe. Avoid restriction of movement, vision, hearing or the ability to breathe or vocalize. Costumes should not contain small dangling accessories that could be consumed or cause choking.
  •  Restrict your pet's access to decorations. Jack o' lanterns with candles are obvious fire hazards, but cats can also get tangled in streamers. Pets can also become ill from eating holiday decor.

LBWF Now Has A Feral Cat Colony!

A group of feral cats found their way to LBWF this year. Having been raised with cats, I welcomed them with open arms. Here is a picture of one of our kitties. We are working on having them spayed & neutered to do our part to help control the feral cat population. Your donations help us to help them! Please make a donations today.
November is National Adopt A Senior Pet month!

We have several wonderful senior dogs all waiting for their forever loving homes! Senior dogs are still so full of life and they have years of experience in the fine art of friendship! If you are unable to adopt you could always sponsor an LBWF senior dog! To view the LBWF senior dogs, please visit www.LindaBlairWorldheart.org

The Linda Blair WorldHeart Foundation is built of a group of inspired, motivated humanitarians who work tirelessly to fight animal cruelty by educating the public, animal rescue, and finding loving families to give the helpless a second chance at a happy life. Founded by Oscar nominated and renown animal activist Linda Blair to bring the much needed attention to the growing problems related to animal welfare and the work required to stop animal abuse and neglect.

What We Do…

Linda Using the Pet Walker-Plus

LBWF is a unique safe haven for animals providing top-quality, lifelong care to the animals it rescues.

We emphasize proper nutrition, provide first-class veterinary care, comfortable facilities, training, socializing, and of course, an abundance of love.

Using the media as an outlet for education, we hope to raise the level of awareness on important issues such as pet overpopulation and dog fighting, as well as debunking the unfounded, illogical and fear-based arguments that all too often lead to breed-specific bans and the heartbreaking extermination of beautiful animals whose only crime is having been born.

The recent economic recession and financial crisis have resulted in a record number of foreclosures and people aren’t the only ones to suffer in times like these. Homelessness is a harsh reality facing more and more animals, as people heartlessly abandon them or are reluctantly forced to leave them behind at already overcrowded shelters because they can no longer afford to care for them.

Please help us give these loving, loyal and wonderful animals a safe place to live a happy life. There are a variety of ways you can help, from making a tax-deductible cash donation, purchasing something from our CafePress store or bidding on one of Linda’s eBay auction items to volunteering at our facility or becoming a desperately needed foster family for our rescues.

Increasing Our Impact

After 3 long years of searching, the foundation’s journey came full circle with the acquisition of an A2 zoned property in Acton, CA. The property is beautiful and provides a wonderful temporary home to animals that have been through so much.

We’re very proud of how far we’ve come and incredibly thankful for the donations of both money and time from our dedicated supporters, friends and volunteers. Much has been accomplished, but we still have a long way to go!

We are constantly working to construct additional buildings to shelter our rescued animals from high desert winds and cold. We’re also busy installing additional fencing and plumbing, as well as creating new play yards – just to list a few of the ongoing projects that help us meet our animals’ most basic needs.

Always on our shopping list…

  • Wire Crates 42″-48″
  • Chain Link
  • Recycled Plywood
  • Trees for shade and wind protection
  • Dog food
  • Dog Treats
  • Dog Toys
  • Dog Beds
  • Blankets
  • Collars and Leashes
  • Stainless Steel Water and Food Bowls
  • Heavy Duty garbage bags
  • Paper towels

These gift cards can always be put to good use…

  • Home Depot or Lowe’s Gift Cards
  • PetSmart or Petco Gift Cards

Our “wouldn’t it be wonderful” wish list…

  • Cargo Van for transporting animals
  • Energy and Water Efficient Washer (top loading) and Dryer
Looking Into The Future

Ultimately our goal is to build a reliable and smooth-running facility that will allow Linda to focus much of her attention on educating the public about critical issues such as overpopulation, the importance of having pets spayed or neutered, animal abuse, neglect and the plight of woefully misunderstood breeds like American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier and the Staffordshire Bull Terrier – often collectively referred to as “Pit Bulls”.

While our first priority is to provide a loving and safe environment for our rescued animals, fundamentally we hope to have an impact on a much larger and far-reaching scale. Ours is a mission of education that will help people develop the same respect, love and admiration for animals that we have.

Together We CAN Make A Difference!
